Our schedule for the first few weeks of school is as follows:

Mandatory Parent Meeting – Tuesday, August 15 – 7:00 PM Fellowship Hall
(Parents Only & just one parent required to attend)

Open House – Thursday, August 17 – 9:00-10:30 AM
*Last names beginning with A-O attend from 9:00-9:45. P-Z attend from 9:45-10:30.

Phase-In Week/Partial Week begins – Wednesday, August 23 – Friday, September 1 (see detailed schedule below)

Labor Day Holiday – Monday, September 4 – No School
Full Mornings Begin – Tuesday, September 5 – 8:30-11:30 AM
Full Mornings Only – Tuesday, September 5-8 – 8:30-11:30 AM
Afternoon/Lunch Program Begins – Monday, September 11 – 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM
First Kindergarten Afternoon – Tuesday, September 12 – 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM

CHILDREN’S HOUSE PHASE-IN SCHEDULE – FALL 2023

***PLEASE READ CAREFULLY***

Kindergartners ONLY will attend on Wednesday, August 23 from 8:30-10:30 AM

Kindergartners AND Second Year Students ONLY will attend Thursday and Friday, August 24 and 25 from 8:30-10:30 AM

Everyone will attend beginning Monday, August 28 – Friday, September 1 from 8:30-10:30 AM

Phasing-in is an important part of the planning for a successful beginning to the school year. Just as we carefully sequence the materials in the environment and choose activities with self-correcting features, much thought is given to starting the children in a gradual progression. This helps to provide a positive experience for each child. Phasing-in gives the children the special attention and positive modeling necessary for a happy and successful start in the Montessori classroom each year.
